The production per hectare of the vineyard never exceeds 45 quintals. The selected bunches are picked by hand from the plant and placed in 15 kg baskets. Immediately after, grapes are delicately and smoothly spilled in the de-stemmer and crusher machine.
Wine-making:
Maceration at low of temperatures in stainless steel tanks;
Controlled pressure and temperature during fermentation.
Drawing off without pressing the peels;
Aging (Elevage) in medium-toasted French oak barrels for twelve months.
Wine description:
The taste of this medium-bodied wine is representative of the territory of central Tuscany, regulated by the Chianti Classico Consortium: is lively ruby red, associates smoothness, elegance, and style with a rich and fruity bouquet of cherries, wild berries, and violet.
Serving suggestions:
This wine combines perfectly with grilled red meats, braised beef, and lamb dishes.
